The Turkish Entrepreneurship Grant Support Programme aims to provide grants of up to 2 Million TL to entrepreneurs in three priority areas
The Development and Economic Cooperation Office (BSEC) of the Republic of Turkey Embassy in Nicosia announced that 20 million TL financial support will be provided for the Entrepreneurship Support Programme. The programme aims to provide training, consultancy and grant support on entrepreneurship and business establishment, targeting Turkish Cypriots born 1987 and later.
The programme, which will be carried out under the coordination of the Turkish Cypriot Investment Development Agency (YAGA) and the educational sponsorship of the Turkish Bank, has three main priority areas:
Technology and innovative business ideas - Maximum support 75%, maximum 750,000 TL.
Traditional business ideas - Maximum support 75%, maximum 500,000 TL.
Export-oriented and high brand value business ideas that will add value to the TRNC economy - Maximum support is 75%, maximum 2,000,000 TL.
Applications will be received between January 24 - March 11, 2024. Detailed information and conditions are vailable at https://yaga.gov.ct.tr/ . Applications will be accepted through: https://girisimcilik.kei.gov.tr.
PROGRAMME PROMOTION MEETINGS
It was reported that promotional meetings will be held on 12-16-28 February and 6 March 2024 via the online link to be announced on the YAGA page.
