A Big Step from GITYA: Turkish Cypriot Entrepreneurs Will Meet with European Investors in Partnership with Arctic15.

The community partnership signed between Arctic15 and Technology Entrepreneurs Investment Agency (GITYA) and it's association GITYAD opens the door to a new era for the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the northern part of Cyprus. Known as one of the most influential startup-investor meetings in Europe, Arctic15 brings together entrepreneurs, investors and technology leaders from more than 60 countries in Helsinki every year. The event, which is especially known for its result-oriented structure, has become a center where many investment deals are born thanks to the Deal Room system, where thousands of one-on-one meetings take place.

This year, for the first time, a community from northern part of Cyprus joined the official partners of Arctic15 through GITYA. This cooperation is of great importance as local entrepreneurs can establish direct contact with international investors, bring their projects to the European stage and make the innovation potential of the TRNC visible. Within the scope of the agreement, GITYA and GITYAD members will be able to participate in the event with special advantages and will have priority opportunities in matchmaking, pitching and networking.

This partnership offers entrepreneurs in Northern Cyprus the opportunity to participate in not just one event; it also opens the door to new collaborations by providing access to accelerator programs, mentor networks, fund managers and sector-focused sessions in Europe. This step by GITYA and GITYAD is a strong bridge connecting the local entrepreneurship community to the global ecosystem and contributes to making Northern Cyprus' innovative energy more visible in the international arena.

Arctic15 is a completely results-driven startup event that grew out of the Nordic and Baltic startup ecosystems, which attracts participants from more than 60 countries. The biggest difference of the event is that it is based on the Deal Room and 1–1 matchmaking rather than stage shows.

Thanks to this structure, thousands of startups met their first investors, and hundreds of investment agreements started at these tables.
