The GoBIG Entrepreneurship Program, aiming to bring a fresh perspective to the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Northern Cyprus, was launched on March 20, 2025, at the CES Entrepreneurship Center. Designed to support entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas on their journey toward investment and growth, the program stood out with its strong network of strategic partners and a well-attended launch event.

The GoBIG Entrepreneurship Program, developed to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Northern Cyprus, was officially launched on March 20, 2025, at a special event hosted by the Cyprus Entrepreneurship Station (CES). The event attracted significant attention from business professionals, ecosystem stakeholders, academics, and partner institutions. During the launch, program details were shared, and a cooperation protocol was signed to solidify stakeholder collaboration.

Designed as a free mentorship program, GoBIG aims to transform innovative business ideas into successful, investment-ready ventures. Participants will receive one-on-one mentorship from experienced professionals, attend workshops, gain guidance on business development and financial planning, and benefit from networking opportunities with sector experts and investors.

The program has been brought to life through a strong collaboration network. Strategic partners include the Cyprus Entrepreneurship Station (CES), GİAD (Young Businesspeople Association), GİKAD (Women Entrepreneurs Association), KTTO-KGK (Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce Women Entrepreneurs Council), GİTYAD (Entrepreneurial Technology and Investors Association), Girne Women’s Cooperative, and 12 Monkeys Startup Studio.

In addition, several academic and entrepreneurship-oriented institutions such as ODTÜ KALTEV, Eastern Mediterranean University Technopark (DAÜ Teknopark), and CIU (Cyprus International University) Startup Studio are contributing to the initiative. LTB (Nicosia Turkish Municipality) and Kyrenia Municipality are among the supporters of the program, while Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell is participating as the official communications sponsor within the scope of its social responsibility efforts.

Beyond these key stakeholders, numerous consulting firms are also involved as implementation partners, providing education, mentorship, and technical support to help entrepreneurs further develop their business ideas.

Additionally, data collected throughout the GoBIG Program will serve as a valuable resource for the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Northern Cyprus. Insights gained from the challenges faced by participants, investor engagement, and business model development will be used to inform and improve future ecosystem-building efforts.

Interested entrepreneurs can submit their applications digitally by May 25, 2025, via www.cescyprus.com.
